mensis anni Aegyptiaci, Iunio Romanorum respondens, quô dicunt Osiridem ἀφανιςθῆναι periisse. Itaque Sacerdotes hôc mense Βοῦν διάχρυσον ἱματίῳ μέλανι βυςςίνῳ περιβάλλοντες ἐπὶ πένθει τῆς θεοῦ δεικνύουσι, Βοὔν γὰρ Ο᾿σίριδος εἰκόνα νομίζουσι. Bovem auratum pullâ veste byssinâ amictum ostendunt in luctu Deae (Isidis) Nam Bovem putant esse Osiridis imaginem, Plut. de Iside. Strabo eundem esse dicit, ὁ βοῦς Α῎πις, ὅ ἐςτιν ὁ αὐτὸς Ο῎σιρις, Bos Apis, qui idem est Osiris, l. 17. Vide Apis, Isis, Osiris etc. An Graecis πυανεψιών; Vide ibi.
